Things worked out better than expected.
Challenger R/T. First impressions on the short drive from the airport to the hotel? It’s big. Really big. I am used to my little GTI, and I think I will always prefer smaller, more nimble vehicles. But when that Hemi rumbles when you hit the gas, I mean, DAMN. This is going to be enjoyable. After lunch, I am taking it for a spin. The room is nice, too.
The sports car option wasn’t cheap for the car, but it is still cheaper than the casino

I’m a little car guy too but put something like this or a Mustang in the right context like the desert with wide open roads and they’re great.

You should take a drive to Lake tahoe and do some snow nuts! Perfect car for enjoying the Nevada deserts though for sure. I've generally had good luck with rentals, was happy with the Jeep I received for no charge in Hawaii. If only it didn't get rammed into. But that's a different problem I guess! I quite liked the v8 challenger I took to an autocross though, made all the right noises even if it spewed oil out the back every run.

I like this idea. He should tell them he’s dropping it off in Fresno and go all Donner Party on the way home.
(Don’t do that in this car! It will turn out exactly like the Donner Party. )

Second car for me has to have four seats. Realistically a SS without the 1LE would probably be fine. These are like $10k less. Still not than I can afford ¯\_()_/¯

I’ve had three V6 Challengers which I found to be a lot of fun. I’d like to drive an R/T, but I’m not sure I can get the company to foot the bill!

I was once upgraded to a charger R/T with a Hemi for a work trip . My coworkers that traveled with me were not as excited about the burnouts as i was. It did have heated rear seats which they liked.

I most recently had one of these in Colorado, with snow still stuck to the side streets. Lulz were had. I still can't believe a bone stock car is that loud. I drove in sport mode and giggles like a child 98% of the weekend. Way better experience than the base ass Chevy Colorado I have in Houston right now. Enjoy!
